Melanie Amadoro is a Technical Consultant with Whalen Search Group, with extensive experience in the automotive and construction industries. Melanie has a diverse, technical resume that spans several different engineering disciplines across the manufacturing and automotive industry, the medical field, and academia. Her career includes serving as the Technical Director of a Motion Analysis Laboratory at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children; an Application Engineer with SKF USA Inc. working with major clients on industrial bearing applications; and as a Naval Engineer providing machinery design and acquisition support to U.S. Navy ships. Melanie obtained her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, where she graduated Cum Laude. She also has an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University where she was awarded the Calhoun Fellowship and graduated with Honors. Melanie is married with 4 children. She enjoys running, biking, swimming, and competing in the sport of triathlon, as well as reading and attending her children's sporting events.
